From Vietnam to China: Lunar New Year Celebrations at STADA
The Lunar New Year is here, and with it comes a celebration of renewal, gratitude, and unity across Asia and beyond. From Vietnam to China, this cherished holiday brings families, friends, and communities together in vibrant traditions, and at STADA, we proudly join in the festivities.
In Vietnam, Tết is the most significant celebration of the year. Symbolizing a fresh start, it is marked by time-honored customs such as decorating with apricot blossoms, kumquat trees, and red-and-gold ornaments for luck and prosperity. At STADA Pymepharco, our colleagues have infused their workplaces with this festive spirit, creating warm and welcoming spaces. Traditional dishes like bánh chưng and bánh tét take center stage during family reunions, representing gratitude and togetherness, while the exchange of lì xì (red envelopes with lucky money) reflects a culture of goodwill and connection.
In China, the arrival of the Year of the Snake has been celebrated with reflection and hope. Our Greater China team came together for a company-wide luncheon, where successes of the past year were honored, and aspirations for 2025 were shared. A unique time capsule captured these hopes, while a heartfelt video exchange featuring colleagues from across Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Taiwan emphasized unity and collaboration.
While Vietnam and China each bring their unique customs to the Lunar New Year, this celebration is embraced by communities across Asia and the world.
