Today, we mark an important milestone on Hemofarm A.D. #sustainability journey. We have officially commissioned a 4 MW rooftop solar power plant at our manufacturing site in Vršac, one of the largest industrial installations of its kind in Serbia. This project will generate nearly 5 million kWh of renewable energy each year and reduce our carbon footprint by 3,000–3,500 tons of CO₂ annually. Over its lifetime, it will prevent more than 80,000 tons of CO₂ emissions.
As a company committed to health, we believe it is equally our responsibility to protect the health of our planet. This investment is another step toward the future we want to create for the generations to come. My sincere thanks to all teams who made this project a reality.
